1% of the players in the casino, but it was quite a glitch. A server error allowed players to play with each other’s money and even to see one another’s personal details. Needless to say, this shook the players’ confidence a little bit. The site was shut down as soon as the glitch was spotted, and it remained down for a little over a month. Players went back to playing at independently owned online casinos for the 35 days that the site was down, and it was estimated that this cost the BC government about 5 million CAD in lost revenue. All of PlayNow’s 140,000 players were given the option to walk away and have their deposits refunded, but most of them did not take this option. This probably means that the casino will be able to recover, provided that there are no further problems. All eyes will surly be on the casino for the next few months, as it’s success or failure will most likely determine the fate of online casinos in other provinces.

For players who are looking to put their trust in a Canadian online casino that has had a significantly longer history with protecting players’ privacy and personal info, head over to All Slots Casino.

Germans who love to gamble online received some help from the ECJ recently. While in the past the court has allowed state monopolies in other countries, Germany’s monopoly has been seen as different. Online gambling laws in Germany were seen as being too inconsistent to serve any purpose other than to drum up business at state run gambling venues. Many, such as the EGBA see that is being a positive thing for independent online casino operators like

GamblingClub.com but that isn’t strictly true. This ruling did not come about as a result of a change in the ECJ’s position on online gambling. State monopolies on online gambling are still something that the court sees as preferable, they just want to see them done right. The way Germany’s monopoly worked, it was providing all of the revenue generating effects of a monopoly without any of the public protections that come with state monopolies, and are generally used as the entire basis under which these monopolies are established in the first place. Germany is currently at a stand still in terms of gambling legislation. The ban is set to be in effect until the end of 2011, but until then there is no system for licensing independent operators. If the ban was going to go into law after the expiration of the treaty then this wouldn’t be such a bad thing, but as it is Germany is stuck between the two systems. With the ban set to be lifted, Germany will need a new system in place by the start of 2012, but they have failed to move forward on this. The reason for this is presumably because they are expecting to draw up a new ban that will meet with the ECJ’s approval.

It is highly recommended to read the following tips so that you could enlarge your odds of winning poker. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing in an international tournament,

video poker machines, mobile poker or in poker sites like Bodog or Party Poker, you have to put them in practice.
1) Do not play every hand \ fold more
It is probably the first beginner’s mistake – he plays too many hands at once. When you start playing poker, you’re very enthusiastic and want to play every hand – even if it’s not a good one you just want to be part of the action; but playing more doesn’t necessarily mean earning more, usually you lose more.
2) Don’t play drunk
If you’re in an online casino, so don’t rush the alcohol. Even if you think that two drinks are not so bad, chances are you’ll lose money

3) Don’t bluff for no reason
a lot of beginners understand that bluffing is part of the poker game; problem is they don’t know how to do it right. There is no law that says one should bluff during the game, but a lot of players don’t feel that they have experienced the game completely unless they tried to bluff. It is important to understand that bluffs only work in certain cases and only on certain people and if you know that a player always calls for revealing the cards, it is impossible to bluff that player.
4) Do not stay in the hand just because you’re already in it
another common mistakes beginner make is that they think that they did not put enough money in the pot. Simply wrong. You can’t earn a pot by throwing money into it.
5) Don’t be quick to show your hand if it is avoidable
6) Don’t play mad, sad or in a bad mood
when you play poker, you shouldn’t be upset or in bad mood. If you’re playing with negative feelings and in an irrational way – you won’t play your best.

As any player knows, the basic backgammon rules are pretty simple. If you’re a casual blackjack player, any working of the mind you’ve encountered has most likely been due to working out dice numbers or working out a strategy. However, if you’re looking to venture from casual play to casino backgammon play, there is something you should become familiar with; the doubling cube.

Backgammon rules state that the doubling cube be placed on the board at the beginning of the game with the number 64 showing. The cube has the numbers 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 marked on its side. The doubling cube simply acts as a way to double the stakes by a power of two. When you decide to start a round of doubling, you take the cube and place the number to be doubled by face up. If you’re doubling by 2, the two is up. The other player can either reject and end the game or redouble bringing the number to 4. The original player to double will hold the cube however. In fact, the original player can also raise the stakes for a 3rd time.

Although the doubling cube only goes to 64, backgammon rules allow for the betting to increase as high as the players want, always to the power of two. In most backgammon games, however, the betting does not exceed betting does not redouble beyond four times the original stakes.

That is the basic backgammon rules for the doubling cube, although there are other ways to incorporate it strategically. In the end, it is another strategic backgammon maneuver, much like raising the stakes in a poker match.

Research is usually considered boring fare, something that you left behind in high school or college. Researches are often thought to be fusty men wearing corduroy jackets with leather elbow patches, or beautiful women that nobody notices until they remove their glasses and let their hair down. I’m neither of those and perhaps my notion of a researcher has been clouded by Hollywood. Still, in terms of an online casino bonus, it literally pays to do your homework.

If you’re new to the online casino world and are just starting to make some inquiries into various internet gambling sites, I’m sure that, like me, when I first started out you are scratching your head in wonder at the choice. Where do I begin, what are they really offering me? I’m sure questions like these are forefront in your mind.

It’s definitely sound advice to not just choose the first site, because of the online casino bonus that they offer. It might be that is the one that you eventually end up signing up with, for whatever reason, but still look around, compare and contrast what you find.

When it comes down to it, find the online casino bonus that suits you best and look out for examples such as; $100 deposit, 150% deposit bonus or $500 free cash. You have the whip hand, with so many casinos touting for your business you can take the time to shop around to find if other aspects of a specific internet casino fit the bill, not just the online casino bonus. Stay security aware and enjoy it!

When my wife and I took a fishing vacation up to Canada, we ran into another couple that we really hit it off with. They also ended up being big poker players, which we were as well, and so it didn’t take long until we were having poker nights following our fishing days. We had a blast and were sad to leave. After all, we live about 1,000 miles apart. We emailed for a bit and then the Mike, the husband, let me know about the fun he was having with internet gambling. I hadn’t tried it but he suggested if we wanted to we could all join a community card game and play poker with each other again. I thought it was a great idea. My wife was a little hesitant at first because she didn’t know much about internet gambling either, but after some quick online searches we found a lot of information on online casinos and how safe they are.

So, we joined up and have been having a blast. Online casino games are just like real casino ones, and the money’s real too! Now we meet up with our friends online one Saturday a month to gamble online; poker and blackjack tables is where you’re find us. Internet gambling has really become a great way to stay in touch with friends, have a blast, and make some money. We’re even planning to use our winnings for a reunion trip to Vegas!

Building a list of tips for playing Backgammon would prove useless if the player reading it does not understand that the tips, although very helpful, will not do the work by themselves. The Backgammon tips offered on this page, or in any other source for that matter, are only indications, ideas of general situations and generally proven strategies to bear in mind when playing a game of Backgammon. So, the main and most important piece of advice I can give you here is to keep your eyes wide open throughout the game and focus on your moves one by one considering every single time what the next best move would be according to what is on the board.

That being said let us move to some basic, yet useful tips for playing Backgammon. In the beginning of each game you should consider your position in the match. No matter if the game is the first one of the match, the only one, the last one, or anyone in between, try to always place your checkers in advantageous positions foreseeing the consolidation of blocks and primes. If you have to leave checkers standing alone in a blot, then do so in the most advantageous, less risky position; in your next turn reverse the situation. Do not waste your time at any point in the game trying to equally distribute your checkers around the board, simply bring them home as fast as you can and in the best, most intelligent way. At the same time, choose a strategy style and stick with it without fear of changing it as often as needed. Do not just make the first move that comes to your head, instead establish more than one practical move for each roll and use the best one of them.

In case you are loosing the match, it would be convenient to play a more aggressive, risky game. If you do not succeed in your attempts, you were any ways about to loose the game and the match; but if you do manage to steal the game from your opponent’s hands, then you have a bigger chance of even winning the match. In other words, if you are already in big disadvantage, it is actually a good strategy to play the game in a win it all or loose it all fashion. This can be done either by using the doubling cube in the case you have advantage over your opponent’s pip count, or anchoring some of your checkers on your opponent’s home-board or external board and building primes on yours. As an addition, consider as well hitting as many of your opponent’s checkers if it seems helpful in slowing down his advancement and speeding up yours.

Another excellent tip is to always think about the doubling possibilities present. This will help you assess the accuracy of your moves and strategy. If your game is good enough to double, then you should keep it up, double when your opponent is less likely to take your doubling and win. On the contrary, if you are in disadvantage, think of which positions are the most convenient for the next move in order to double properly or at least not pass a double made by your opponent. If you are playing a match were you and your opponent need both two more points to win, consider doubling or redoubling as soon as you can.
Do not be afraid of taking risks. Backgammon is a game of chance as much as of strategy, and one without the other will result in no fun whatsoever. So gear up, practice and learn as much as you can and take advantage of chance and opportunity by applying your wits.
